Here is the Minecraft News for June this year.
1.16 was released for Bedrock and Java on the 23rd of June, 2020! For those who don't know, this update added new biomes, mobs, and blocks to the nether, as well as making a few tweaks to other areas of the game such as villager mechanics.
The release date for the Minecraft Dungeons DLC "Jungle Awakens" was announced to be released on the first of July (tomorrow as of writing this in Central Time). This will add a new jungle-themed questline complete with new mobs, items, and bosses. For those that have the Hero edition this will automatically be added to your game. Emotes were added to the Bedrock Edition with the 1.16 update (don't worry, they are nothing like Fortnite emotes). You can select what emotes you want to use in the character creator menu. Some emotes are free, while others are obtained by completing achievements or by purchasing them with Minecoins.
