Bedrock is better

I own Bedrock and Java is superior in every way. Bedrock has like, 1.8 combat and that's it. Shielding is worse in bedrock as well, you have to crouch to shield

Not only that but in java you can make banner shields in bedrock you can't make that

Give one good reason outside of 1.8 combat (which is subjective) why Bedrock is better

I like both editions. (I own bedrock) I personally would play on java.

Not yet. Planning on getting it soon tho. So far, there are more things that I have seen that are better in java then bedrock. Some things that I like in bedrock are the loading screen, armor stands, the paper doll, the recipe book, etc.
