Ya, it doesn't exist anymore. It's called Bedrock Edition now.

Switch version shows what button inputs do. like the X button opens inventory or ZR is to mine.

Welcome to Minecraft if you’re new! Like these guys said, Minecraft on the switch is a bedrock edition, as opposed to the other version of the game, java edition. Both of these versions are fairly similar with some slight differences, but yeah, your versions good.

You have a choice of two GUI's. Pocket, and Classic. Pocket is default but Classic is the same as Java's GUI

It doesn't update at all i have minecraft nintendo switch edition and it dosen't update but i still like it, smooth and classic Minecraft.

That's not true, Nintendo asks you if you want to start the update software and tells you it might take a few minutes. Nintendo Switch edition is really good but for redstone, Mumbo Jumbo's builds don't work cuz it's Bedrock
