Well, first things first. We need mud in Minecraft.

Why do we need mud in minecraft? It would just be another thing to mine with a shovel.

This would be cute as a pig variant though.

Mud could layer like snow and mobs could sink in it. And would be put in a bucket.

Iron golem can get muddy. Why not a creature that is known for getting muddy?

Another idea is maybe some sort of creature that stayed under the mud so you can’t see it until it attacks you.

Ask Mojang to implement it from Minecraft Earth, because the muddy pigs came from there

And it looks like all the unique stuff from Minecraft earth might migrate to vanilla Minecraft judging from the mob vote with Moobloom and Glow squid
