Have you ever heard the tale of Johnny Whoops?
No.
Ok then, I'll tell you.
When the anvil was introduced to Minecraft, a user by the name of Grassmaker420 was the first to name a diamond sword. He named this sword 'Johnny Whoops'. One day Grassmaker420 took his sword on a mining trip to the bottom of the world. The player suffered a bizarre brain spasm and attempted to use Johnny to mine a piece of bedrock. The sword broke in the attempt. After returning to the surface Grassmaker420 was constantly haunted by a 'phantom sword' which floated around, attacking him and constantly killing him. Any screenshots he attempted to take of the attacks were mysteriously deleted from his computer and thus the mining community and Mojang did not believe him when he reported the incident. Grassmaker420 was deeply depressed by this and sadly deleted his own account after 2 months of the terror.
This was not, however, the end of Johnny. A day before Grassmaker420 deleted his account he visited a small server in a final attempt to get someone to believe him. A user named OldManBen believed his tales. 2 weeks after the account was deleted, OldManBen reported the same phantom sword attacks. The player woke up one morning to find his survival world on fire.
Since then thousands of players world wide have reported these attacks and have spread the ghost of Johnny Whoops between servers. Not even Hypixel is safe.
You have been warned.
