Minecraft is a online virtual playground build by Markus Perrson, or also known as Notch in-game. The game is run by Microsoft Studio's and people can imagine, create, and explore in 3D generated world's.  Gamemodes: The players can choose between 4 Different gamemodes. Creative: The player can fly, has unlimited resources, cannot die, and can build whatever they want. Survival: The player can die, must gather resources and explore the world around them. Adventure: The player goes on tons of game's made by the community and play them while completing objectives and much much more. Hardcore: The player is put in survival on hard difficulty, and only gets one life, if they die, the world is deleted. These different gamemodes allow the player to explore and build in amazing and creative ways. Minecraft Marketplace: The Minecraft Marketplace is a place where Minecraft player's make their own games. Other player's download these game's for free or with Minecoins, the in-game premium currency. Dimensions: There are 2 dimensions in Minecraft aside from the Overworld/Earth. Nether: The nether is a Hellish landscape of doom, full of fire, lava and undead monstrosities. End: A telepathic island in the middle of space/the void. Inhabited by the final final boss, The Ender Dragon. Maps: Maps are net related game's where people can experience tons of different adventures. Realms: Realms are worlds by the player's where only there friends that they invite can play with them in, the first time a player gets realms, they g et it free.for a month, afterwards it's a premium purchase. So yeah, Minecraft is the biggest video game in the world, with nearly 200,000,000 sales, it is the ULTIAMTE platform for people of all ages.

2009: Cave Game: Cave Game is the first version of Minecraft and the second version of RubyDung. You break green blocks, place cobblestone blocks, and build. Early Classic Creative: The first version of creative with only a few block's to build with and no fly mode. Multiplayer Test: Notch added the ability to play with other people who also play Minecraft. Although this version is extremely buggy. Survival Test: Minecraft Devs wanted the game to be more challenging. They opened survival mode, but You couldn't die, only break blocks at a slow pace. Late Classic Creative: Creative mode now featured SO many more block's AND the ability to fly In-Game. Indev: Indev featured many small additions, bug fixes and much more such as Dynamic Lighting, Mobs being able to attack, Fall damage, and more. 2010: Infdev: Infdev added infinite world's to minecraft as well as major bug fixes, food, Remade trees, And making the graphics look better. Alpha: Alpha was the first version of Minecraft outside of it's In Development stages. Many things such as SMP ( Survival Multi Player ) was added, Creepers, Farming, and more. Beta: The most well known classic Minecraft version.  Things like beds, wolves, maps for exploring, new biomes, changes to combat and the nether as well as much more was added in beta. Minecon 2010: The first ever Minecon is held, with huge announcements, game's, parties and more for the celebration of minecraft. During Minecon 2010, Notch finally Released Minecraft for everyone to play. 2011: Minecraft 1.0, The world of Crafting Update: The first ever minecraft version is out. Things like new sounds, game options, better building, maps for playing in, Custom Skins, tall grass, New mining mechanics, and more is added in Minrcraft 1.0. Minecraft Trailer: The Minecraft trailer is released, reaching to 140M views on YouTube, it is the MOST veiwed Minecraft video to this date. Mimecraft 1.1, The Better World Update: Minecraft 1.1 introduces Apple's falling from tree's, Colored mob eggs, sheep shearing and Superflat worlds are added. Minecraft 1.2: The Update that changed the World: The jungle biome, ocelots, zombies having the ability to knock down wooden doors, Iron Golems and the ability to build 2X high in Minecraft is added. 2012: Minecraft 1.3, The Greatest Riches: In Minecraft 1.3, you can place upside down levers, use new rails, Temples, and most importantly, trade emeralds with villagers. Minecraft 1.4, The very scary Update: Witches, Item frames. Golden carrots, Pumpkin pie, Mob heads, and the wither are added. 2013: Minecraft 1.5, The Redstone Update: All the new Redstone blocks aside from Redstone Dust and Repeaters are added. Minecraft 1.6, The Horse Update: Horses, Donkeys, Mules, Hay Bales, Terracotta, and more is added. 2014: Minecraft 1.7, The Bountiful Update: All new flowers, flower pots, and fising are now in the game. Huge Payoff: Notch sells Minecraft to Microsoft for $2.5B. Although Notch no longer works with Minecraft, Jeb has stayed with the team. Minecraft 1.8, The adventure Update: Better maps, new biomes, and all new features are added. 2015: Minecraft Story Mode: There were NO updates to Minecraft in 2015 becuase Microsoft was working on Minecract Story Mode, a Campaign stylied Minecraft game where the player, " Jessie " is off on an adventure to defeat the Wither Storm. 2016: Minecraft 1.9, The Combat Update: End Cities, Shulkers, Shulker boxes, Chorus fruits, new way to fix spam hitting, shields, Elytras, and parrots are added to the game.  Minecraft 1.10, The Frostburn Update: The Ice Spikes biome and Canyon biomes are added. 2017: Minecraft 1.11, The Exploration Update: Observers, new end block's, woodland mansions, illagers and much much more are added. Minecraft 1.12, The World Of Colors Update: New colored beds, concrete and concrete powder, and the Minecraft marketplace are made and released. 2018: Minecraft 1.13, The Update Aquatic: Kelp, Coral, Coral reefs, Dolphins, Sea turtles, Sea pickles, Shiprecks, Drowned, Buried treasure, Swimming and Conduits are added. 2019: Minecraft 1.14, Village and Pillage: New villages and villagers, Bamboo, Bamboo Jungles, Pandas, Foxes, 12 new helpful blocks, Crossbows and Pillager Raids are added.
