In the nether, water evaporates instantly, and sponges dry instantly. So why doesn't the player instantly die when they do there?

Well basically, Herobrine just did strange things to your world, like getting rid of leaves on trees, digging long two by two tunnels, or building sandstone pyramids in the middle of no where.
