Additions	Smooth Basalt for Geodes, Deepslate variants of ores, cobbled deepslate, even more ore texture changes, and Tuff is naturally spawning.

21w08a is the eleventh snapshot for Java Edition 1.17, released on February 24, 2021. It adds deepslate variants of ores and further tweaks cave generation.

Additions

• Cobbled Deepslate – a new type of Deepslate, that can be gotten by mining a Deepslate with a pickaxe (without Silk Touch)
• Deepslate Ores – types of ores generated near Deepslate.
• Smooth Basalt – a block generated at the outer layer of Geodes. Can also be gotten by smelting Basalt

Changes

• Geodes no longer spawns Tuff. It spawns Smooth Basalt instead.
• Textures of Ores and Deepslate variants are changed again.
• Andesite no longer spawns under y=0. Tuff is spawned instead.
• The distrubution of ores has been changed.

Fixes

• MC-213926 – Rooted dirt footstep sounds are considerably quieter than normal dirt footstep sounds.
• MC-214782 – Geodes can generate floating in caves.
• MC-214843 – Old style caves don't generate past Y=0.
