21w08b is the twelfth snapshot for 1.17 - Caves and Cliffs, released on February 25, 2021. The snapshot consists solely of two bug fixes from 21w08a, which was released a day prior to this snapshot's release.

- MC-216744 – Iron Ore doesn't generate (only iron ore in deepslate is generated).
- MC-216101 – Redstone Ore generates with a flat distribution below y=12.
