Amethyst Clusters are an upcoming addition to caves in the 1.17 "Caves and Cliffs" update. This is the final stage growth for the Amethyst Buds, Amethyst Clusters drops Amethyst Shards when mined, and itself if you mine it with a Silk Touch Pickaxe.
They generate in amethyst geodes, and can only be mined with an iron, diamond, or netherite pickaxe.
Usage[]
Amethyst clusters in all their growth stages can be used as low level light sources.
Amethyst Shards when mined. The amethyst shards are necessary to craft a spyglass and tinted glass.
