The bundle is a new storage item that was introduced for 1.17. It is an item that allows players to store up to 64 items regardless of type (as long as they are stackable) by dragging and dropping the bundle onto the item to be stored into it. It allows players to save inventory space by placing multiple items (eg. seeds, flowers, books, other and stackable items) into a single bundle that can be unpacked later. A common misconception is that bundles can give players more space in their storage system. Bundles can only hold 64 blocks, so 64 blocks of cobblestone that take up 1 slot can be put in a bundle that also takes up 1 slot. The purpose of bundles is to put various blocks in one slot if the sum of those blocks is less than or equal to 64.

- Bundles can hold up to 64 miscellaneous items.
- When placed in a bundle, Ender Pearls, eggs and other items that only stack up to 16 will take up 4 spaces. Meaning that a full bundle can only hold 16 ender pearls, eggs, or other items that only stack up to 16.
- They can be placed inside Shulker Boxes, allowing for every stackable item to be in one shulker box. However, a shulker box can not be placed in a bundle.
- Putting an unstackable item in a bundle will fill it completely.
