Chiseled Sandstone is a decorative variation of the common sandstone block.
Sources[]
Chiseled sandstone only generates naturally in desert temples. However, it can also be crafted.
Mechanics[]
Chiseled sandstone is unaffected by gravity, and it will not fall if it's placed without a supporting block underneath it, much like the other types of sandstone. It has the appearance of smooth sandstone, with the addition of a creeper face "chiseled" into each side. Chiseled Red Sandstone has the appearance of smooth red sandstone, with a Wither "chiseled" into each face.
Crafting[]
Chiseled sandstone can be crafted in either a crafting table or in a player's personal 2×2 crafting interface.
