Concrete is a block that was added to Minecraft as part of 1.12. It comes in the 16 traditional dye colors. All the different colors of concrete look pure, and they also look like they had no mixtures added to them.
Source[]
To obtain concrete, a block of Concrete Powder must come into contact with either still or flowing water. The concrete powder's color determines the color of the resulting concrete block. The concrete can then be broken and obtained with a pickaxe; if it's mined without a pickaxe, it will drop nothing.
Usage[]
Concrete is useful for decoration and has more pronounced colors than terracotta, and is not flammable, unlike wool.
While concrete takes slightly longer to mine than Stone, it's significantly less resistant to Explosions.
Mining[]
Concrete requires a pickaxe to harvest. Otherwise, it will drop nothing.
