A fermented spider eye is a poisonous item similar to a Spider Eye, except it cannot be eaten by players. It is used primarily for brewing.
Uses[]
Given the poisonous nature of the item, a fermented spider eye can be used to invert the effects of buff potions into debuff potions, such as turning a swiftness potion into a slowness potion, a strength potion into a weakness potion, and a healing/poison potion into a harming potion.
They can also be added to a night vision potion to make an invisibility potion, which is the only positive effect that can be created by using a fermented spider eye.
