Goats are an upcoming mob planned to be added to the 1.17 update which were shown in the "Biome Vote" trailer for the mountains biome during MineCon 2019. Since the mountains biome got the most votes during the "Biome Vote," goats will be coming to Minecraft in 1.17, but they are now available at Bedrock Edition 1.16.200 at experimental gameplay. They can also be found on Minecraft Dungeons on the Howling Peaks DLC.
Behavior[]
Goats are to be found in the mountains biome. They are able to knock entities far away and jump high into the air. Goats will often attack other entities except for throwable items and vehicles when they get too close to it, and knock them off the cliffs.

Biome Vote - Mountains
The goat mob was first unveiled in the mountain "Biome Vote" trailer where Jens and Agnes showcased the mountain biome. During the trailer, Agnes sees a goat and says that it reminds her of Jens. Throughout the trailer, the goat can be seen eating grass. At the end of the video, when Jens has finished talking, the goat starts to run away which makes Agnes and Jens chase after it.
