Green Dye is a primary color that is obtained by smelting Cactus in a furnace. It can be used to re-color a number of items.

Mechanics[]

Cactus green dye can be used to color wool, sheep, terracotta, stained glass, shulker boxes, concrete powder, and tamed wolf collars green. Most blocks are recolored in the crafting table, but in order to dye a tamed wolf's collar, a player needs to right click on the dog with a piece of cactus green dye in hand. Sheep are also dyed in the same manner.

As of 1.14, Wandering Traders will sell cactus green in exchange for an Emerald. Village house Chests have a chance to contain cactus green in them. Shepherd Villagers have a chance to buy cactus green in exchange for emeralds.
