The Redstone Monstrosity is a boss in Minecraft: Dungeons. It appears in the Fiery Forge as an obstacle to the player. It has three attacks; it is a variant of the Redstone Golem. It appears to be made of stone and cobblestone, with redstone along its body. It has three yellow eyes, a visible mouth, and most noticably, two massive arms used for creating shockwaves. Once the player has exploded all the Redstone Cores, it appears to stop players from escaping the Forge.
Attacks[]
The Redstone Monstrosity has three attacks:
Shockwave
It raises its arms into the air, and smashes the ground with them, creating a massive shockwave. It pushes back players and mobs that are inside the radius of the shockwave, causing damage.
Redstone Cube Aid
The redstone on the Monstrosity glows brightly, as both of its fists pound the ground. Redstone Cubes will spawn around it. This attack is not used very often, mainly in situations where its health is low.
Fireball Attack
The Monstrosity opens its mouth and shoots out several fireballs from it. They create small explosions when they hit the ground or a player. This attack is similar to the Heart of Ender's Fireball Attack.
Drops[]
The Monstrosity drops up to five items:
- Full Metal Armor
- Hammer of Gravity
- Cutlass
- Great Hammer
- Mercenary Armor
Similar Mobs[]
The Redstone Golem is a weaker version of the Monstrosity, with no visible mouth, no horns, only two eyes, and is much smaller, and again, weaker. It also appears to be powered by Redstone Cores.
The Mooshroom Monstrosity is an ever-so-slightly more powerful version of the Redstone Monstrosity. It appears in the ??? (Secret Mission) Level, and is near the end of the mission.
The Obsidian Monstrosity is a statue in the Obsidian Pinnacle. It appears to be a damaged Redstone Monstrosity, and without the redstone. It also appears larger, and though it has no visible name, the game files calls it the "Obsidian Monstrosity". It might be used in an upcoming Nether DLC.
