Soul Soil is a block that was announced during MineCon Live 2019, and was added in the 1.16 update.[1] It can be found in the soul sand valley biome in the Nether.
Usage[]
Unlike soul sand, soul soil does not slow mobs down. Fire lit on soul soil becomes soul fire, or blue fire.
Four blocks of soul soil (or soul sand) can be used in the construction of the Wither.
