A rail can exist while not on a block. For example, you get the Redpower modification. Then you place a rail on top of marble. Then you remove Redpower. Then you load the world and that rail is floating in the air. --{{SUBST:Dog4591/signature}} 07:31, July 24, 2012 (UTC)
