its also been known silverfish can infect stone blocks they touch after awhile of being around or on them, cuasing more silverfish to spawn , or cuasing silverstone to spawn frequently, which can grieve castles, etc. quite easily if a structures made of raw stone or stone brikcs (unconfirmed but many players reference by saying "oh god this will infect the block" before being cut off by another player in chat naswering for them)
